Flood Update: Although Ascend is fully staffed and operational in our temporary new home, Ascend, like other businesses and homes around Tennessee, will be impacted by sporadic interruptions of Middle Tennessee utility services. We have been told that across this widespread geographic area electric, phone, cable, (including internet services) as well as other utilities will need to implement "rolling outages" as utility companies work to repair flood damage to their infrastructure. Thank you all for the support and kindnesses you have shown. |
Ascend is up and running. We have overcome the difficulties associated with Tennessee's historic flooding, which has led the President to issue a Major Disaster Declaration. Our fax lines are open and printing, and our web-entry sites are operational. Our phone service is being installed mid-day today. Until phone lines are operational, any technical issues can be directed to jburns@ascendami.com. Once phone lines are operational, we are asking providers to limit phone calls on Wednesday for technical issues only, which will enable our IT team to pinpoint any technical issues immediately. This will also permit Ascend staff to prioritize pending clinical reviews/evaluations. As screens are completed, outcomes will be viewable on pasrr.com. Please hold clinical and outcome questions until Thursday. All clinical conversations between reviewers and providers will occur via the interactive website. As a result of the catastrophic flooding and compromised levees, Ascend's offices have evacuated by order of Tennessee's Governor until our central offices are safe. We have relocated staff, equipment, and our technological infrastructures to an alternate site. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding as Ascend and Tennessee work to resume business following this unprecedented tragedy. |
